Media Advisory: Treasury and Administration Officials to Hold Media Briefing on Governor's Proposed Fiscal Year 2027

(TRENTON) - State Treasurer Aaron Binder will be joined by Treasury and Administration officials for an in-person press briefing on Monday, March 9, at 1 p.m. in advance of Governor Sherrill's Tuesday, March 10 Budget Address.

The briefing is for credentialed members of the media only. The Treasurer will participate on the record and other Treasury and Administration officials will join on background.

The briefing will take place in the first-floor media room at the New Jersey State House, 125 West State Street, Trenton, New Jersey.

To join the briefing, please RSVP to Department of the Treasury Deputy Director of Communications by 3 p.m. on Friday, March 6.

The Budget in Brief (BIB) document will be available for members of the media on Tuesday, March 10th, at a table outside the media room. The BIB will also be available on Treasury's website after the Governor's Budget Address begins on Tuesday.

All materials and discussions are embargoed for both participants and their media outlets until the delivery of the Governor's Budget Address begins at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10.
