Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 for December 26, 2024

According to CDC, hospital admission rates and the percentage of COVID-19 deaths among all deaths are now the primary surveillance metrics.

Daily Hospitalization Summary for Suffolk County - From December 26, 2024

  • 63 individuals were hospitalized
  • 64% were hospitalized due to COVID-19 or complications of COVID-19.
  • 12 new admissions since the last report.
  • 16 were discharged since the last report.
  • 6 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

  • 5,361 fatalities since March 2020, An increase of 0 since last report.
    • 2020: 2,311
