GIRARD PARK CIRCLE CLOSURE SCHEDULED FOR SEWER INFRASTRUCTURE WORK
Lafayette, LA - Girard Park Circle, between Girard Park Lane and E. Lewis Street, will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, April 21, through Monday, May 5, 2025.
The closure is necessary to allow the contractor for the Our Lady of Wisdom Church and Catholic Student Center construction project to perform sewer infrastructure work.
Detour routes will be clearly marked and local access will be maintained throughout the duration of the closure. The following streets may be used as alternate routes:
- E. Lewis Street
- Johnston Street
- E. St. Mary Boulevard
- Girard Park Lane
- Girard Park Drive
Motorists are encouraged to use caution and follow posted signage in the area.
