Donor Support Gives Project Share a Boost to Help with Energy Bills

IDACORP shareholders recently donated $75,000 to The Salvation Army, joining Idaho Power customer contributions of $178,000 for the 2025 Project Share season. This money provides energy-bill assistance to neighbors in need throughout southern Idaho and eastern Oregon.

Shareholders also contributed almost $18,000 to pay The Salvation Army administrative costs for managing Project Share, ensuring 100% of customer donations help individuals and families.

For over 40 years, Project Share, an Idaho Power program administered by The Salvation Army, has assisted customers experiencing hardships with their energy costs, including bills for electricity, natural gas, wood, propane, oil, and coal.
