Prime Minister chairs meeting of the Middle East Situation Center (War Room)

On 3 March 2026, H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul , Prime Minister, chaired a meeting of the Middle East Situation Center (War Room), together with H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry's executives, and all Thai Embassies and Consulates-General in the region, to review the latest developments and progress in providing assistance to Thai nationals according to the situation in each country.

To date, there have been no reports of Thai nationals being injured. The Ministry continues to closely monitor the situation and assess the situation on an ongoing basis, while preparing both land and air evacuation routes, taking into account safety considerations and airspace restrictions. The Ministry is also coordinating with relevant countries to ensure the most effective assistance to Thai nationals.

The Prime Minister also took this opportunity to convey words of encouragement and support to all officials carrying out their duties amid heightened tensions and uncertainty.
