The Lincoln Police Department today released the results from a seatbelt enforcement initiative conducted May 15 through 31. The initiative was part of the nationwide "Make it Click" campaign with LPD officers working overtime to focus on peak times when seatbelt use tends to drop: evenings and weekends.
Funding for this initiative was provided by our safety partners at the Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office.
