The City of Columbia is hosting its monthly Let's Talk Local discussion from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 at the Molly Thomas Bowden Neighborhood Policing Center, 1204 International Drive.
This discussion will feature Ward 2 Council Member Vera Elwood and will focus on the mission of the Office of Violence Prevention. D'Markus Thomas-Brown, administrator of the office, will provide a presentation on steps the City is taking to address community violence.
