Congressman Harris Attends White Marlin Open in Ocean City

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) attended the 53rd White Marlin Open, joining anglers, tournament organizers, local officials, and members of the Ocean City community during one of the Eastern Shore's premier annual events.

"The White Marlin Open is one of the biggest weeks of the year for Ocean City. It brings visitors from across the country and keeps local marinas, charter boats, hotels, restaurants, and small businesses busy. That's why maintaining the Ocean City Inlet is so important, and why I secured funding to dredge the federal navigation channel ahead of this year's tournament."
