Lantronix Names Eric Johnson to Director of Compute Ecosystems

IRVINE, Calif., April 10, 2025 - Lantronix Inc. (NASDAQ: LTRX), a global leader of compute and connectivity for IoT solutions enabling Edge AI Intelligence, today announced it has named Eric Johnson to the position of director of Compute Ecosystems.

"Johnson will play a pivotal role in shaping Lantronix's Compute Ecosystem strategy and go-to-market execution."

At Lantronix, Johnson will focus on building and deepening partnerships across the company's expansion compute ecosystem, including liaising with the team at its long-term partner Qualcomm® Technologies. His new responsibilities also include identifying new opportunities for business expansion and supporting initiatives that drive visibility and adoption of Lantronix's compute solutions as well as building product line initiatives that support the company's AI product roadmap.

Prior to joining Lantronix, Johnson led sales efforts at Quectel for the California region, driving more than $70M in annual revenue and consistently delivering strong year-over-year growth. He has a proven track record of building deep customer relationships, identifying new growth opportunities and expanding market presence.

His earlier roles at Taoglas, both as product manager and RF/Antenna engineer, showcase his ability to bridge engineering and market needs through developing roadmaps, leading antenna integration projects and aligning cross-functional teams. He also brings hands-on engineering experience from SPAWAR and operational leadership from his tenure at Learning Glass.
