Zipmobile stalled on Pearl City Viaduct June 17
Posted on Jun 17, 2026 in Highways News, Main, NewsHONOLULU - The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) notifies highway users the Zipmobile stalled on the H-1 Pearl City Viaduct between the Lehua Avenue underpass and the former Sears Distribution Center Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
The Zipmobile driver reported that 10 out of the 12 lug nuts connecting the main tire have sheared. The Zipper Lane will not open this morning.
HDOT will provide updates as more information is available.
