Safety as a Culture, United Tractors Wins The 2026 Indonesia Safety Excellence Award

Jakarta, August 21, 2026 - Workplace safety is no longer focused solely on incident prevention but also on the ability to anticipate risks, leverage technology, and build a safety culture in which every employee plays an active role. As part of this commitment, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) continues to strengthen the implementation of occupational health and safety (OHS) through an excellent, innovative, data-driven, and sustainable safety system that is aligned with global OHS developments.

This commitment has earned UT three awards at the Indonesia Safety Excellence Award (ISEA) 2026, held at Prama Sanur Beach Hotel, Bali. UT received two awards in the Corporate Excellence Awards category, namely the Best Safety Culture and Human Performance Award and the Best Safety Governance and Risk Management Award. Concurrently , UT's Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Department Head, Erika Pratiwi Darmanto, received The Best Safety Leadership on OSH Culture award in the Leadership Excellence Awards category.

"This recognition serves as both an appreciation and motivation for us to continuously strengthen our safety culture. For UT, safety is not merely about systems and procedures but also about fostering awareness and responsibility among every employee to create a safe working environment. We also continue to leverage technology and data to help identify and control potential risks at an early stage," said Erika Pratiwi Darmanto.

ISEA 2026 is a national-level awards program that recognizes organizations demonstrating excellence in safety transformation through innovation, technology, and data-driven approaches. Held in conjunction with the OSH Asia's Summit 2026, this year's event carried the theme "Advancing Predictive & Sustainable Safety in the Digital and Climate Era."

As part of the assessment process, UT went through several stages, including administrative screening, online presentation, evaluation, and judging interviews. The assessment covered six aspects: predictive safety systems, digital safety implementation, sustainability, safety culture, key performance indicator (KPI)-based safety performance, as well as governance and systems.

This achievement is part of UT's ongoing journey to build a safety culture that is predictive, sustainable, and focused on employees. More than just an award, this recognition reinforces UT's commitment to continuously creating safe working environments while remaining prepared to address future challenges.
