GREENSBORO, NC (April 29, 2026) - Greensboro Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened Tuesday night on Creek Ridge Road.
GPD officers, Greensboro Fire, and Guilford County EMS responded at approximately 7:46 p.m. to a crash in the 700 block of Creek Ridge Road.
Richard Lee Meades, 48, of Greensboro, was operating a Harley-Davidson motorcycle west on Creek Ridge Road. A Jeep Gladiator was exiting a parking lot at 700 Creek Ridge Road, turning east, when the collision occurred. Meades died of his injuries at the scene.
The Greensboro Police Department's Crash Reconstruction Unit responded and is conducting this ongoing investigation.
