MS NOW TO PRESENT NEW PRIMETIME SPECIAL, “LONG GAME: THE BERNIE SANDERS EFFECT” AIRING SATURDAY, OCT. 17 AT 8 P.M. ET

(NEW YORK - Oct. 12, 2026) - MS NOW will present Long Game: The Bernie Sanders Effect, a new primetime special from MS NOW Senior Contributing Editor Michele Norris featuring an in-depth look at the groundbreaking career and burgeoning influence of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), airing Saturday, Oct. 17 at 8 p.m. ET.

The two-hour special, hosted by Norris, delves into Sanders' decades-long political career, his influence on American politics and the movement he helped build as the country heads into the midterm elections. Featuring exclusive sit-down interviews with Sanders, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Long Game explores Sanders' role in shaping a new generation of candidates and political leaders who are redefining the Democratic Party.

Ahead of the special, ms.now will publish a piece from Norris reflecting on her conversation with Sanders, his political legacy and his influence on a new generation of candidates. The following evening, Norris will host an interactive live Q&A exclusively for MS NOW Members, offering the opportunity to ask questions about the special and Sanders' lasting impact on American politics.
