On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the people of Kenya on the 62nd anniversary of Kenya's independence and the establishment of the Kenyan Republic. I wish all Kenyans a very happy Jamhuri Day. Together, Kenya and the United States continue to work to strengthen regional security, promote bilateral trade, and ensure a safe and prosperous future for our two nations.
We extend our best wishes for the people of Kenya and look forward to even deeper cooperation and partnership in the coming year.
