Andrew County I-29 ramp closures April 16 for resurfacing project

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, is scheduled to close four ramps in Andrew County on Wednesday, April 16 due to a resurfacing project on southbound Interstate 29. The following ramps will be closed one at a time between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.:

  • Southbound U.S. Route 71 to southbound I-29
  • Southbound I-29 to northbound Route 71 (Exit 56A)
  • Southbound I-29 to Business 71 (Exit 53)
  • Business 71 to southbound I-29 (Exit 53)

Traffic impacts: Traffic will not be able to use the ramps during the closure. Motorists will need to use an alternate route.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
