WASHINGTON, D.C, - Today, Senator Jim Banks (R-Ind.) released a statement following the confirmation of Justin Olson to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Justin Olson is the first judicial nominee in Indiana of the second Trump administration. He was confirmed in the Senate by a vote of 50 to 47.

Justin Olson currently serves as counsel at Kroger Gardis & Regas LLP in Indianapolis, where he has represented Riley Gaines and other female athletes in Title IX litigation, as well as Turning Point USA. Previously, he worked as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana. Olson clerked for the Chief Justice of the Indiana Supreme Court and earned his B.A. from Grove City College and his J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
