Clayton Brown Recognized by Connect CRE’s Next Gen Awards

Clayton Brown, Senior Managing Director Investments in Marcus & Millichap's Seattle office, was recognized by Connect CRE as part of its Next Gen Awards.

The award recognizes emerging professionals who have made notable contributions to the commercial real estate industry. Brown was selected for his leadership of Brown Retail Group and his role in retail investment sales and financing across the Pacific Northwest and nationally.

Brown is the founder of Brown Retail Group, where he leads business strategy, oversees day-to-day operations and mentors a 13-member team. He specializes in the investment sales of single-tenant net-leased properties, shopping centers and higher and better use sites. Over the course of his career, he has closed more than 200 transactions totaling over $700 million in volume and has consistently ranked among the firm's top retail producers in the region.

In addition to brokerage, Brown is active in real estate development, with more than $40 million in projects underway, including the redevelopment of a 180,000-square-foot shopping center in Washington state.
