WICHITA, KS - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce recently hosted U.S. Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) for a roundtable discussion in Wichita, Kansas with local business leaders on the pro-growth business tax provisions in President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act. This forward-looking, pro-growth policy is vital to maintaining America's prosperity and competitive edge and will create new opportunities for American workers and businesses to thrive.
We applaud Senator Marshall for working to ensure that the constituents of Kansas continue to benefit from long-term tax relief, fostering growth for workers and businesses across his district and beyond.
"The U.S. Chamber thanks Senator Roger Marshall for his leadership on pro-growth policies and for joining us in Wichita to hear from Kansans on how the Working Families Tax Cuts has positively impacted them," said John Gonzales, Executive Director of Government Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. "It is so important to hear directly from small business leaders about how these policies like expanded expensing, tax relief, childcare and workforce supports economic growth and helps Kansas businesses compete and thrive."
"Small businesses are the backbone of Kansas communities, and I'm grateful to the Wichita Chamber, the U.S. Chamber, and the Envision team for bringing so many great Kansas job creators together to talk about how we can set them up for success," said Senator Marshall. "With the Working Families Tax Cuts delivering real relief and the Investing in All of America Act headed to the President's desk, the future is bright for Kansas small businesses."
"Conversations like this are critical. Federal policy decisions directly shape our business environment," said Brecken Morel, Interim President & CEO for the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce. "Connecting our members with Senator Marshall ensures their voices are heard and reinforces the Chamber's role as the unified voice advocating for businesses in our region."
The U.S. Chamber's tax roundtables are a part of its Growing America's Future campaign, an education and advocacy blitz in support of maintaining a pro-growth tax code to foster a robust U.S. economy that benefits all Americans. To date, the Chamber has hosted over 95 tax roundtables, and these events will continue over the coming months in communities across the country.
