Good afternoon. Let me start today's briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Jina will attend the High-Level Segment of the 61st session of the Human Rights Council, to be held in Geneva, Switzerland.

On February 23, Vice Minister Kim will deliver a keynote speech at the High-Level Segment, in which she will outline the Korean government's role and commitment to contributing to the protection and promotion of human rights as a member of the Human Rights Council for the 2025-2027 term.

During her visit to Geneva, Vice Minister Kim will also meet with officials of international organizations, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Next, Vice Minister for Strategy and Intelligence Jeong Yeondoo will attend the High-Level Segment of the Conference on Disarmament, to be held in Geneva, Switzerland.

On February 23, Vice Minister Jeong will deliver general statement at the Conference on Disarmament, in which he will present Korea's position on key non-proliferation issues, including the North Korean nuclear issue, and introduce Korea's efforts to strengthen the global disarmament and non-proliferation regime.
