Emergency Services to Host Draft Hazard Mitigation Plan Review Meetings

Chester County is updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan and is hosting two (2) hybrid meetings for the opportunity to review the draft version of the 2026 plan and provide feedback.

The Hazard Mitigation Plan serves as a blueprint for reducing property damage and saving lives from the impacts of natural and human-made hazards.

Both meetings will be held on January 21, 2026, online and in person, at the Chester County Government Services Center, 601 Westtown Road, West Chester, PA, 19382. Sessions cover the same content and attendance is not required at both sessions. The afternoon session will be held 2-3 pm in room 42. The evening session will be held 6-7 pm in room 351 W.
