Search committee named for next vice president for human resources

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Joel Pogodzinski has named a search committee to identify the next vice president for human resources who will succeed Claudia Paetsch, who announced her intention to retire in August 2025 after six years at Marquette.

The committee will be chaired by Laurie Panella, chief information officer. In addition to Panella, the committee members include:

  • Andrew DeGuire, Keyes Dean of Business Administration
  • Annie Empey, director of finance; Office of Finance
  • Mike Jahner, senior director of facilities management and university engineer; Facilities Planning and Management
  • Lizzie McCright, deputy general counsel; Office of General Counsel
  • Stacy Mitz, senior associate vice president; University Advancement
  • Christine Wilczynski-Vogel, associate dean for external relations, events and facilities; Marquette Law School

The search committee will be assisted by the search firm Isaacson, Miller, to ensure a strong pool of candidates.
