State, national and international media frequently feature the University of Wyoming and members of its community in stories. Here is a summary of some of the recent coverage:

UW College of Law Dean Julie Hill is quoted in a Marketplace piece about how regional bank earnings reveal a lot about the health of the national economy. A key indicator is strong loan demand, combined with low losses on loans, she said.

In an E&E News article about wastewater produced by data centers, UW Professor Jonathan Brant argues for more regulation and transparency.

Sheridan Media joined the list of news outlets publicizing UW's No. 41 ranking in SmartAsset's list of "America's Best Value Public Universities."

Sheridan Media also highlighted UW research to enable RNA-based medicines to be transported and stored at room temperature. Professor Thomas Boothby and his team hope to develop techniques to store and ship these medicines in a dry state by applying processes used by organisms that can survive extreme dehydration, such as tardigrades.

The Wyoming Tribune Eagle published UW's release about new UW research showing that water vapor is staying longer in the atmosphere, traveling greater distances before returning to the Earth's surface through precipitation.
