HARRIS COUNTY, GA - Today, Congressman Brian Jack, the Chairman of the Small Business Subcommittee on Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Workforce Development, welcomed Administrator of the Small Business Administration Kelly Loeffler to Harris County. Together, they hosted a small business roundtable with local leaders and business owners at the Harris County Community Center and visited Breaking Bread sandwich shop and Hamilton Ice Cream Company in Hamilton.

Congressman Brian Jack said, "I am honored to welcome my friend, Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler, to Harris County. For 13 straight years, Georgia has been the #1 State in the country for business, and I am proud to extend that economic winning streak by passing the largest tax cut in American history, eliminating job-killing regulations, and providing small businesses with quicker access to capital."

"Before I was sworn into Congress, I pledged to bring America's leaders to our communities to promote the incredible things happening across Georgia's 3rd Congressional District. I am honored to keep that promise, as today marks the 10th visit by a Member of President Trump's Cabinet to our District during my first term."

Administrator Loeffler said, "Georgia's 3rd District has a tremendous advocate for small businesses in Congressman Brian Jack, and it was great to join him in Harris County today, where we saw firsthand the opportunities coming to rural communities thanks to the America First economic agenda."

"Business owners like Breaking Bread are expanding, creating good-paying jobs, and contributing to Main Streets across America. I appreciated meeting with local leaders at our roundtable and celebrating another SBA success story with the entrepreneurs whose hard work keeps Georgia communities strong."

During the roundtable, participants discussed opportunities to expand growth and strengthen partnerships with the Small Business Administration.

Following the discussion, Congressman Jack and Administrator Loeffler visited employees and hosted a lunch at Breaking Bread sandwich shop and Hamilton Ice Cream Company, which were recently opened with the support of a $1.32 million 7(a) loan from the Small Business Administration.

Joining Congressman Jack were: State Senator Randy Robertson, State Representative Carmen Rice, Harris County Commission Chairwoman Susan Andrews, Harris County Commissioner Rob Grant, Hamilton Mayor Patrick Whearley, Hamilton Police Chief Eric Weiss, Harris County Chamber of Commerce President Gloria Boyer, Harris County Chamber of Commerce Chairman David Hawkins, and other local business and economic development leaders.

Administrator Loeffler's trip to Harris County marks the 10th visit by a Member of President Trump's Cabinet to Georgia's 3rd Congressional District during Congressman Jack's first term.
