Council approved:

Direction to the City Manager to draft proposed amendments to Title 20 of Sparks Municipal Code to modify the zoning districts where data centers are permitted and develop associated development standards and definitions for data centers.

An ordinance authorizing the issuance of the City of Sparks, Nevada, Tourism Improvement District No. 1 (Legends at Sparks Marina) Sales Tax Anticipation Revenue Bonds, Series 2025, in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $35,000,000.
Public Hearing and Action Items Unrelated to Planning and Zoning
Council held a public hearing and approved the agreement with the International Association of Firefighters Local 731 for the period July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027. The estimated cost increase to the City is $47,295.00 in FY26 and $57,549.00 in FY27.
Planning and Zoning Public Hearings and Action Items

Council held a public hearing and approved the Major Deviation to reduce the gross residential density from a minimum of 12 dwelling units per acre to 6.17 dwelling units per acre in the Multi-Family Residential zoning district on a 7.46-acre parcel located at 6635 Five Ridges Parkway, subject to three Conditions of Approval. Council also approved a tentative map for a 46-lot townhome subdivision arranged as 23 duplex buildings on the site.
