Fatal Crash Investigators Working to Identify Hit and Run Driver who Struck Pedestrian

Fatal Crash investigators are working to identify the hit and run driver of a black Nissan Murano who Friday at 2 a.m. struck a male pedestrian on West Trinity Lane near the exit ramp from I-65 North.

The pedestrian, tentatively identified as a 39-year-old Nashville man, was attempting to cross Trinity Lane at the light where the exit ramp from I-65 North intersects with Trinity Lane when he was struck. He was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died. The Medical Examiner's office is working to positively identify him.
