MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: New Traffic Pattern at U.S. Route 160 & Christian County Route AA in Nixa

Beginning Thursday, October 24

What: U.S. Route 160 & Christian County Route AA In Nixa

When: 5 a.m. Thursday, October 24

Details: Contractor crews to turn on new signals and open new Continuous Green-T Intersection at U.S. Route 160 and Christian County Route AA in Nixa on Thursday, October 27. A Continuous Green-T Intersection has northbound Route 160 continuing straight without stopping. New traffic signals are installed at southbound Route 160 and the left turn lanes of northbound Route 160 and Route AA. Traffic traveling southbound Route 160 will no longer be able to turn left onto Guin Road, but must continue southbound to use the U-turn at Route CC and then travel northbound Route 160 to access Guin Road. On the east side of Route 160, Guin Road has been converted to a right-in / right-out intersection. Traffic wanting to go southbound Route 160 from Guin Road will need to turn right and use the U-turn at Farm Road 192.

Traffic Impacts:

  • New traffic pattern at Route 160 and Route AA in Nixa

  • New traffic signal for southbound Route 160
  • Left and right turns only at Route AA
  • Guin Road, east of Route 160, is a right-in / right-out intersection
    • To access Guin Road, traffic on southbound Route 160 must use the U-turn at Route CC and then travel northbound on Route 160
    • To access southbound Route 160 from Guin Road, traffic must turn right onto northbound Route 160 and use the U-turn at Farm Road 192
