Chinese Ambassador to North Macedonia Jiang Xiaoyan Presents Credentials to Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova

On November 6, 2025, H.E.Mme. Jiang Xiaoyan, Ambassador of China to North Macedonia, presented her credentials to H.E. Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, President of North Macedonia.

President Siljanovska-Davkova extended warm welcome to Ambassador Jiang, said that the friendship between two countries is built on the basis of mutual respect, understanding and shared values. China, as a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, plays an extremely important role in resolving global challenges. She reaffirmed the respect for and adherence to the one China policy. She's convinced that there are untapped potentials for further development of the bilateral relations, and North Macedonia is willing to fully leverage its geographical advantages as a gateway to Europe, to advance cooperation with China in a number of areas such as economy, education, culture, science and tourism. 

Ambassador Jiang said that, the friendship between China and North Macedonia dates far back into history. The two countries have always respected each other, treated each other as equals. As the largest trading partner of North Macedonia outside Europe as well as a sincere and reliable friend, China is willing to share with North Macedonia new opportunities of its high-quality development and high-level opening-up, jointly implement the series of global initiatives for building a community with a shared future for humanity.
