Condolences over the death of Radiy Ilkayev
The message reads, in part:
"Please, accept my deep condolences in connection with the severe, irreparable loss that has befallen you - the death of Radiy Ilkayev.
Academician Ilkayev was an outstanding scientist, a truly dedicated person, and a patriot. Over the years of fruitful research, he has made a genuinely unique contribution to the development of priority areas of physics, the domestic nuclear industry, to ensuring the country's defence capability and national security, and its technological sovereignty.
The fond memories of Radiy Ilkayev will forever remain in the hearts of family, colleagues, students, and everyone who knew this wonderful man."

Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Honorary Scientific Director of the Russian Federal Nuclear Center - All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Physics Radiy Ilkayev passed away on December 10, 2025, aged 87.
