Congressman Williams Pens Letter to United Nations Ambassador Waltz Condemning Recent Rhetoric Regarding Famine in Gaza

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Yesterday, Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25) led a letter to Mike Waltz, Ambassador of the United States Mission to the United Nations, expressing significant concern about the United Nations' rhetoric regarding the famine in Gaza.

"We are deeply concerned that the United Nations' recent efforts to legitimize the terrorist-led Palestinian regime and its political theater," said Congressman Williams. "As America's voice at the U.N., we call on the Honorable Mike Waltz to resist efforts to whitewash Hamas' human rights abuses. When the U.N. ignores a manufactured famine used to control a population, it abandons its founding principles. The United States stands with our biggest ally in the Middle East, Israel, and must make clear that terrorism cannot masquerade as humanitarianism."
