As many of you are aware, annual funding for part of the Government expires on January 30, including funding for the Department of Labor which includes MSHA. In the event that a deal is not reached and the government shuts down, MSHA will act accordingly. If the government shutdown is still in effect by February 5th MSHA will reschedule the virtual job fair to April 9th. If the government does shut down, but a deal to reopen the government has been signed before February 5th the virtual job fair will proceed on February 26th.
