Feb 02, 2026 Award Nominations Being Accepted for Connections Breakfast Event

Nominations are being accepted through Feb. 6 for awards to be presented during the annual Connections Breakfast to be held on campus on March 24 to honor partnerships that help drive CSUCI's success. We will celebrate the outstanding contributions of our partners to be honored at this year's event.

Please submit Nominations for the following five awards: Business Partner of the Year, Employer Partner of the Year, Faculty Partner of the Year, Intern of the Year, and Non-Profit Partner of the Year.

  • Business Partner of the Year: A for-profit organization that has partnered with Cal State Channel Islands to fulfill its mission and supports the University's capacity to serve the region.
  • Employer Partner of the Year: An employer who recruits interns and recent graduates from our institution, demonstrating a commitment to collaboration, development, and fostering a strong, diverse workforce.
  • Faculty Partner of the Year: A Cal State Channel Islands faculty member who has exemplified partnership to further the learning experience for students and connects students to high impact practices that serve the region.
  • Intern of the Year: An intern who demonstrates exceptional performance, professionalism, and impact, demonstrating growth, initiative, and contribution to their organization's success. New Award!
  • Non-Profit Partner of the Year: A non-profit organization that has partnered with Cal State Channel Islands to fulfill its mission and supports the University's capacity to serve the region.
