Message to the participants and organisers of the Oncopatrol National Information and Education Project

The message reads, in part:

"Russia has made fighting oncological diseases its priority, with large-scale state programmes, the construction of new oncology centres and the retrofitting of existing facilities across our regions, and the introduction of cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment solutions. Of course, one of the main aspects of this broad and multifaceted activity includes proactive prevention, promoting a healthy lifestyle within our society, and fostering a responsible attitude towards health among both the older generation and young people.

In this context, I would like to emphasise the meticulous and much-needed efforts of the participants of the Oncopatrol national project. Your information and awareness events, educational seminars and roundtables with representatives of medical facilities are always relevant and informative, have been held in many Russian cities and towns, and involve the personnel of large enterprises and educational institutions, as well as medical staff. Most importantly, they help strengthen the comprehensive system for protecting the health of our citizens."
