The sunshine and the hard work of our Physical Plant employees have done much to clear campus roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks over the weekend. A special thank you to all of our weather essential employees at the Physical Plant, Police, Housing, and Dining Services for ensuring that campus operations continue during inclement weather. We also appreciate the teams in Torreyson Library, Ronnie Williams Student Center, Randy Pastor Student Health Clinic, and the HPER Center for taking steps to maximize their operations during these last few days.
Despite this progress, we still want to exercise caution in the early morning Monday and will delay classes and all general business operations until 10 a.m. Therefore, all academic classes that begin at 10 a.m. or later will be held as normal. Classes that begin before 10 a.m. will not be in session synchronously but students should be watching for emails from their instructors with information regarding other asynchronous work and adjustments to the course schedule.
Weather-essential personnel should report to campus on a normal schedule, while all other campus offices will have a delayed opening at 10 a.m. Employees, in consultation with supervisors, should use their best judgment about travel to campus in the early morning. Please be flexible as we all work together to assist employees who might be driving from other parts of the region. Warming temperatures will continue to improve any trouble areas in the region as the day progresses.
