Head of the Chinese Mission to the African Union Ambassador Jiang Feng Pays a courtesy call on Permanent Representative of Mali to the AU

On August 27, Amb. Jiang Feng, Head of the Mission of China to the African Union, paid a courtesy call on Amb. Madou Diallo, Permanent Representative of Mali to the AU.

Ambassador Jiang stated that China and Mali are strategic partners, and the friendship was forged by the older generation of leaders of two countries. China has consistently supported the African people in independently determining their own future and destiny. China is willing to strengthen mutual support with Mali and other African countries, and work together to pursue a path of modernization that suits each country's conditions.

Amb. Diallo welcomed Amb. Jiang's assumption of his new post. He stressed that the people of Mali and China share brotherly friendship. Mali appreciates China's efforts and contributions to promoting regional and global peace and development, and looks forward to closer multilateral cooperation with China.
