NATCA Members Gain Additional Safety Understanding During Recent Safety Advocacy Training Course

More than a dozen NATCA members recently completed the Safety Advocacy Training (SAT) course in Baltimore. The two-day training took place from Feb. 2-3. NATCA members completing the class gained an understanding of the numerous safety programs NATCA offers, as well as the requirements utilized by air traffic facilities. Attendees took part in practical exercises, leaving the training with the confidence needed to represent your facility.

NATCA members who completed last month's training course were Matthew Ball (Kansas City Downtown ATCT, MKC), Kenja Bryant (St. Thomas ATCT, STT), Jonathan Huynh (Saginaw ATCT, MBS), Andrew Leppert (Tampa ATCT, TPA), Christopher Orange (New York TRACON, N90), Kristi Perigo (Kansas City Center, ZKC), Zachery Perkins (Hobby ATCT, HOU), Ryan Shada (Sioux Gateway ATCT, SUX), Brittney Stolzer (Miami Center, ZMA), Dawn Suffern (Alliance ATCT, AFW), Tiffany Tracy (Denver Center, ZDV), Gerald Vollbrecht (Palwaukee ATCT, PWK), and Roel Zamora (Albuquerque Center, ZAB). The course instructors were Anthony Hughes (Washington Center, ZDC), Bridget Singratanakul (Dallas-Fort Worth ATCT, DFW), and Nathan Vinson (Fort Worth Center, ZFW).
