The City of Grand Junction's printed 2026 calendar will begin to arrive in the mailboxes of city residents next week. This highly requested publication includes a letter from the Mayor, a review of 2025 projects and accomplishments, a message from the City Manager, a directory of city services, Strategic Plan information, a list of Boards and Commissions and their meeting dates, as well as dates for City Council meetings, national and state holidays, trash and recycle pick up delays, and holiday closures for city offices.
The calendar is printed and distributed each year to more than 55,000 Grand Junction residents. The submitted photographs undergo a rigorous selection process. The Commission on Arts and Culture makes the final determination on which pictures are included in the calendar. This year, 15 photos were selected from all over the Grand Junction area, which highlight our scenic landscape and energetic outdoor lifestyle.
Calendars are also available to be picked up at City Hall, 250 N 5th St., at the Utilities Office at 910 Main St., the GJ Police and Fire Departments at 555 or 625 Ute Avenue, the Parks and Recreation office at 1340 Gunnison Ave., and the Visitors Center at 740 Horizon Drive.
