In New Jersey Gubernatorial Debate, Jack Ciattarelli Lays Out His Toxic Agenda

Following the New Jersey gubernatorial debate, DGA Political Director Jordy Zeigler released the following statement on Jack Ciattarelli's toxic agenda, outlining how he is only out for Trump, not for New Jersey.

"As Mikie Sherrill outlined her vision for a better New Jersey and how she plans to make New Jersey more affordable, create more jobs, and grow New Jersey's economy on the debate stage tonight, Jack Ciattarelli spent the evening reminding voters why they've rejected him twice and will do so a third time in November.

"At every turn, Ciattarelli showcased an extreme and unpopular agenda that would sell out hardworking families and make life more expensive. He shockingly defended school segregation and endorsed catastrophic cuts to the federal Department of Education. And throughout it all, he once again refused to name a single area where he disagrees with Donald Trump, repeatedly touting Republicans' disastrous budget bill that is driving up costs, gutting health care, and causing energy bills to skyrocket. Tonight's debate made clear what we've known all along: Mikie Sherrill is the right candidate to meet this moment and take on the challenges facing New Jersey families, and Jack Ciattarelli will never, ever be Governor."
