The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service endorsed U.S. participation at the Food Ingredients Europe show in Frankfurt, Germany, from November 19-24, 2024. Fi Europe launched in 1986 and has been a major event for the food and beverage ingredient industry. Fi Europe is a regional trade show that brings together suppliers, research and development, production, and marketing specialists to showcase new ingredients and innovations. The annual event serves as a platform to showcase a diverse range of products and services.
The USA pavilion featured 32 U.S. exhibitors. The exhibition welcomed 23,221 attendees from more than 130 countries. U.S. exhibitors conducted 405 business meetings to introduce their products and establish industry contacts. Participation in Fi Europe enabled the introduction and test marketing of 105 American products. U.S. exhibitors reported success in making 584 serious business contacts during the show.
California Natural Color participated in Fi Europe's latest show. The company opened in 1994 and is based out of Fresno, California. The company formed under the name San Joaquin Valley Concentrates and changed their name to California Natural Color in 2018 to better reflect their business model. E. & J. Gallo Winery acquired the company in 2020.

The California Natural Color booth drew a lot of interest and helped the company promote their products to a wide audience. The event was a major success, generating $9.55 million in 12-month projected sales among industry participants.
