U.S. Postal Service FCU Raises $6,000 for the Postal Employees’ Relief Fund

The U. S. Postal Service Federal Credit Union has announced the successful completion of its fundraising initiative to support the Postal Employees' Relief Fund (PERF). Thanks to the generosity of USPS FCU members, the Credit Union raised an impressive $6,000 to assist postal workers and their families in times of need.

"Our postal workers serve as the cornerstone of our community, often going above and beyond to connect us with the world," said Steve Cimino, CEO at USPS FCU. "Raising as much as we did for PERF is a testament to our members' commitment to giving back and supporting those who serve us daily. These efforts underscore our Credit Union's commitment to supporting postal employees and their families."

About the Postal Employees' Relief Fund (PERF):
PERF is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization thatexists to help active and retired postal employees, whose home, as a result of a major natural disaster, was completely destroyed or left uninhabitable-displacing the postal employee and their family for an extended period of time. The Fund provides small relief grants to assist qualifying victims of such circumstances re-establish residence and to help replenish basic necessities in the aftermath of a devastating loss.
