Hoboken and Hudson County residents invited to a Resource Fair on Aug. 6

The City of Hoboken and the Office of Constituent Affairs will host a Hudson County Community Resource Fair, in partnership with the Hudson County Department of Housing & Community Integration, on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Multi-Service Center, 124 Grand St.

Community members are encouraged to attend to learn more about available services, programs, and resources, including housing assistance, Medicaid, SNAP (food stamps), Veteran benefits, senior transportation options, and property tax reimbursement including the Senior Freeze program. Staff will be on hand to assist individuals with applying for programs and benefits, if needed.

"The resource fair is an easy way for our residents to connect with some of the important services they may need, and provides access to valuable resources, all in one convenient location," said Mayor Emily B. Jabbour. "We are grateful to Hudson County and County Executive Craig Guy for partnering with us on this event, to better serve, and help strengthen, the Hoboken community."

These resource fairs are about making it easier for Hudson County residents to access the services and support they need, whether it's housing assistance, benefits for veterans and seniors, food resources, or health services," said Hudson County Executive Craig Guy. "By bringing these resource agencies together in neighborhoods across our County, we're removing barriers and ensuring residents know they are not alone. I want to thank the City of Hoboken and all our community partners for helping connect families with the resources that can make a real difference in their lives."

The event is free, open to community members of all ages, and registration is not required.
