Workforce Housing for the Pacifica School District

Brookwood, as the Owner's Representative for the Pacifica School District (PSD) is assisting the District in providing high-quality housing for current and future teachers and staff members. As with the nearby Jefferson Union High School District, PSD is becoming a developer by necessity, rather than by choice.

In areas such as the San Francisco Bay Area where housing costs have become unaffordable, school districts face staffing challenges with which they must contend and that are not of their own making. These districts are taking bold, innovative and necessary steps to achieve their academic missions and to fulfill their responsibilities to their communities.
