I was pleased to join Cameron Maine and WMBD News for a segment this past weekend to recap two major bills from the recent Veto Session.
We discussed the Chicago Transit bill and the problems involved with enacting a $2.5 billion fix for a $200 million problem without addressing necessary operational and structural reforms.
We also talked about the $8 billion energy bill that funds battery storage, and the pitfalls of not addressing key ways to produce increased energy in Illinois, which include lifting artificial caps on natural gas and not shutting down clean coal plants.
