Beginning today, Thursday, Oct. 30, Fulton Street will be closed between S.W. Jefferson Avenue and the parking lot entrance of City Hall. The closure is necessary as part of the Adams Street and Jefferson Avenue One-Way to Two-Way Conversion Project, and is expected to last three weeks, weather permitting.
Both the northbound and southbound lanes of Fulton Street will be closed. Access to the Twin Towers Parking Deck and City Hall's parking lot will be maintained. Drivers should access the Twin Towers Parking Deck and City Hall's parking lot from S.W. Monroe Street.
Drivers should be mindful of the closure and watch for workers in the area. Extra caution should be exercised in the area.
Sidewalk Removal at Hamilton/Jefferson Intersection
Sidewalk Removal will begin today at the northeast corner of Hamilton Boulevard and N.E. Jefferson Avenue, near 200 N.E. Jefferson Avenue. Sidewalks in this area will be closed to pedestrians.
As a reminder, when sidewalks are closed, pedestrians should use caution in the area and cross the street at the next available intersection.
