Director-General of TICA attends the swearing-in ceremony for the Peace Corps Volunteers (PCVs) of group 137
On 16 March 2026, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), attended the swearing-in ceremony for the 66 Peace Corps Volunteers (PCVs) of group 137, presided over by H.E. Mr. Sean Kotaro O'Neill, U.S. Ambassador to Thailand, and Ms. Amini Kajunju, Country Director of Peace Corps Thailand.
The event highlighted the deepening of people-to-people ties between Thailand and the U.S. through volunteers under the Teacher Empowerment for Student Success (TESS) program in partnership with the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) and the Youth in Development (YinD) program, in collaboration with the Department of Local Administration (DLA).
