Lesh will also ring in 2027 with a two-night New Year's celebration December 30-31 at The Parker in Fort Lauderdale , where Grahame Lesh & Friends will be joined by Kanika Moore and the Wolfpack. Tickets for both nights are on sale now.
The dates arrive during an especially prolific period for Lesh, whose 2026 performances have spanned Grahame Lesh & Friends, Midnight North, the Terrapin Family Band, the Terrapin Roadshow, Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration, and collaborations with artists across generations of the Grateful Dead musical lineage.
Throughout the summer, Lesh continued to expand the Terrapin Roadshow, the traveling concert series inspired by the spirit and community of the beloved Terrapin Crossroads venue. The 2026 Roadshow kicked off May 30-31 in Monte Rio, California, before traveling to San Rafael, Grants Pass, Oregon, and most recently Truckee, California, where Lesh was joined by Amy Helm and the Helm Family Ramble for the Terrapin Helm Family Ramble, celebrating the musical histories of the Lesh and Helm families. NPR was on site in Monte Rio to document the Roadshow's return and its connection to the music and community surrounding Terrapin Crossroads.
This weekend, the Roadshow will make its first-ever Colorado stop August 22-23 at Two Rivers Park in Glenwood Springs, with Bill Nershi and Kyle Hollingsworth of String Cheese Incident, Ross James, Mark Levy, Elliott Peck, and additional special guests.
The Grateful Dead's music and legacy have remained central to Lesh's 2026 performances. On the 31st anniversary of Garcia's death, Lesh played a special Grahame Lesh & Friends show at Garcia's Chicago on August 9. During the performance, he played Garcia's 1976 signature Travis Bean TB500 #11 guitar and closed the set with "Black Muddy River" and "Box of Rain," the final two songs performed by the Grateful Dead at their last concert at Chicago's Soldier Field in 1995.
Over the next few weeks, Lesh will perform six dates with the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration, joining the Philly Pops, National Symphony Orchestra, and other orchestras to perform Garcia's music. On September 7, Lesh will bring the spirit of San Francisco's historic free concerts to Golden Gate Park for the Golden Gate Free Jam. Grahame Lesh & Friends will perform a free show at Robin Williams Meadow from a flatbed truck, echoing the spontaneous outdoor performances that became part of San Francisco's musical history in the 1960s.
On October 10, Lesh will join Melvin Seals & JGB at Orinda's Siesta Valley Bowl, formerly the Bruns Amphitheater and the site of the first Terrapin Roadshows in 2024.
As 2026 continues, Lesh's work remains rooted in exploration, collaboration, and community. Across Grahame Lesh & Friends, the Terrapin Roadshow, Midnight North, the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration, and collaborations with members of the broader Grateful Dead musical family, Lesh continues to explore the music's history while creating new spaces for it to evolve. The year will culminate with two nights at The Parker in Fort Lauderdale, where Grahame Lesh & Friends will join forces with Kanika Moore and the Wolfpack to ring in 2027.

Best known as a founding member and co-frontperson of Midnight North, as well as for his work with Phil Lesh & Friends and the Terrapin Family Band, Lesh has become a central figure in the thriving musical community that grew out of Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael.
