Lindenwood has been recognized as a College of Distinction for Education, earning this title for a fifth consecutive year. This national award recognizes the University's continued excellence in preparing confident, compassionate, and classroom-ready educators.
"The College of Education and Human Services is thrilled to have received this award, setting it apart as a College of Distinction," said Dr. Dan Kirk, dean of the College of Education and Human Services. "This recognition is a testament to the work that goes on in the college, day after day, with exceptional faculty and staff supporting the preparation of highly qualified educators, counselors, social workers, and leaders, all of whom go on to be change-makers in the communities we serv and beyond."
Colleges of Distinction evaluates institutions across the country based on evidence of student-centered programming and educational outcomes. Lindenwood's selection reflects strengths in key areas, including:
