Chinese Consul General in Gothenburg Yang Peidong Attends 2026 Gothia Cup Opening Ceremony
On July 13, 2026, Chinese Consul General in Gothenburg Yang Peidong accompanied Chinese Ambassador to Sweden Zhou Limin to attend the 2026 Gothia Cup opening ceremony and visit the Chinese teams participating in the tournament.
Founded in 1975, the Gothia Cup is the world's largest international youth football tournament. This year's tournament has attracted 1,956 teams from 78 countries and regions, with a total of 45,300 participants.
