BEIJING, China, June 22, 2026 - Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), one of the world's largest express transportation companies, is participating in the fourth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), held in Beijing from June 22 to 26, 2026. Under the theme "Where now meets next," FedEx (Booth B06, Hall W4) is showcasing its exceptional logistics network, intelligent solutions, and diverse sustainability initiatives, all designed to support the efficient coordination and resilient development of global industrial and supply chains.
This marks FedEx fourth consecutive appearance at CISCE. The company is highlighting how digital and intelligent solutions strengthen supply chain security, reliability, and resilience. For instance, the FedEx Surround® Monitoring and Intervention Suite leverages data-driven, real-time monitoring to enhance visibility and control across cross-border logistics, helping customers in China improve both supply chain resilience and operational efficiency.
The booth also features FedEx global air logistics network, with a particular focus on its service coverage across 45 European markets and its China-Europe transportation capabilities. Supported by robust air and ground infrastructure, as well as efficient connectivity through key Asia-Europe hubs, FedEx delivers stable and reliable cross-border logistics solutions that facilitate bilateral trade.
In terms of sustainability, the FedEx booth highlights the company's goal of achieving carbon-neutral operations globally by 2040, alongside its progress in clean energy adoption and low-carbon operations. In China, FedEx continues to advance sustainability initiatives, including the launch of its first solar panel installation in East China at the FedEx Shanghai International Express and Cargo Hub in March this year. The company has also increased the electrification rate of its pickup and delivery fleet in China to over 30%, adopted sustainable packaging and paperless operations, and deployed AI-driven sorting robots and automated guided forklifts.
The company also actively gives back to society and supports community development through public welfare programs, including the "Protecting One Kilometer of A River Course" campaign and the "University Student-led Environmental Entrepreneurship Challenge." Additionally, the booth presents key milestones in FedEx development in China, showcasing achievements in network optimization, infrastructure upgrades, service efficiency, and digital innovation-further underscoring its long-term commitment to the Chinese market and to facilitating two-way trade.
"Our vision is to make supply chains smarter for everyone. Digital innovation and sustainability are central to shaping the future competitiveness of global supply chains," said Buay Beng Tan, Vice President of Operations for FedEx China. "CISCE provides an important platform for us to explore industry trends and deepen collaboration with global partners. FedEx will continue to leverage its global network and technological expertise to help build a more resilient, intelligent, and sustainable global supply chain ecosystem."
As global industrial and supply chains become increasingly interconnected, China offers greater certainty for global supply chain stability, sustainable transformation, and multilateral cooperation. According to the General Administration of Customs of China, in the first five months of this year, the country's total goods imports and exports reached 20.68 trillion yuan, up 15.3% year-on-year[1]. This growth has provided strong support for the stable operation of global supply chains.
Against the backdrop of profound adjustments in the global economic landscape, building secure, stable, and efficient supply chains has become a shared priority for the international community. As a strong supporter and enabler of global trade, FedEx remains committed to optimizing its global logistics network, enhancing end-to-end service capabilities, and advancing digital transformation and sustainable development. Through these efforts, the company aims to help create a more resilient, diversified, intelligent, and low-carbon global supply chain ecosystem-delivering shared value for China and the world.
