1. W&L Presents Senior Recital with Isabel Duarte

Isabel Duarte '26 will perform her senior vocal recital on March 28 at 8 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Arts. Duarte, a soprano, is a music and biology double major from Washington, D.C.

The performance is free and open to the public and will be streamed online at https://go.wlu.edu/livestream.

The performance will open with Johann Sebastian Bach's solo cantata, "Ich bin vergnügt mit meinem Glücke," followed by "So anch'io la virtù magica" from Gaetano Donizetti's opera "Don Pasquale". The recital will also feature selections from Robert Schumann, Richard Strauss and Johannes Brahms as well as John Corigliano's rarely heard song cycle, "The Cloisters." Duarte will close her performance with songs in French by Amy Beach and Claude Debussy. Duarte has studied music under Gregory Parker, professor of music at W&L.
