Chairman Walberg on Sending $9 Billion-Saving Rescissions Package to President Trump’s Desk

Today, Education and Workforce Committee Chairman Tim Walberg (R-MI) issued the following statement on the House-passed rescissions package, which recoups more than $9 billion in taxpayer funds, heading to President Trump's desk:

"This clawback is another important step in correcting DC's spending problem. As lawmakers, Americans expect us to be good stewards of their tax dollars-unfortunately, out-of-control spending on left-wing policies has cost families far too much. Once again, congressional Republicans are doing our part to enact President Trump's pro-growth policies and keep Americans' dollars in their own pockets."
